María Cristina Ríos Íñiguez is a textile and visual artist from Argentina. She has exhibited in cultural centers and museums in different cities in Argentina, as well as in countries such as Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Italy, India, the United States, Russia, Morocco, Nepal, Spain, Denmark, Iraq, Turkey, Romania, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Egypt. She has received honorable mentions, prizes, and diplomas. She has taught workshops and seminars in Egypt, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Paraguay. She has participated in biennials in Ushuaia and Salta (Argentina), Bolivia, Mexico, and Uruguay. In Egypt, she was the first foreign textile artist to exhibit in Cairo, and she participated in art symposiums at the Gabal el Tair Monastery. She has exhibited and given workshops in Minya and Assiut. She has participated in four Solar Boat Festivals and was Guest of Honor at the third Solar Boat Festival, organized by the artist and creator Ismael Bakr
